Conscious Compliance is a strategy to identify and eliminate racial bias in Title IX processes in educational institutions, as required by the new Title IX regulations that the US Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR) issued on May 6, 2020. This webinar reviews the new regulations and includes conscious compliance steps that can be used in training for Title IX coordinators, investigators, hearing officers, adjudicators, appeals officers, and those who facilitate informal resolution processes. Conscious Compliance can be followed by the internal and external actors involved in the administration of institution's Title IX programs. 1 Ethics CLE Credit.
